Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Vancouver WA and Portland OR. Information on Dr. Brar, certification, training, background, experience, and more.
"My goal is to thoroughly educate patients about the best possible result that can realistically be achieved surgically,
and allow them to make the best decision for themselves."
Manjit Brar, MD, FRCS, is board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and American Board of Surgery.
He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (the Canadian equivalent to American Board certification.)
Board certification is a process through which a plastic surgeon voluntarily demonstrates his or her exceptional level of
training and understanding of all types of plastic surgery. This includes comprehensive written and oral exams as well as
presentation of a variety of patients. Those who undergo this rigorous process must meet stringent criteria.
Dr. Brar did 10 years of training after medical school. Some of this training involved internship and residency in general
surgery at Michael Reese Hospital, one of the largest hospitals in Chicago. His plastic surgery training was at world-famous McGill
University in Montreal, Canada. He has over 35 years of plastic surgery experience. His office is at 3100 Main Street in Vancouver,
Washington, where he has a surgical suite to perform outpatient surgery.
